Hello Again Helsinki

Helsinki, again, was such a pleasure after the roughness of Russia and its substandard roads. But again, our time in this wonderful city was all too short. We managed to get out for a nice Finnish dinner the first evening (even looking for the Laplander restaurant where we had Reindeer's tears last time), and then spent the next morning strolling the streets for less than an hour. Hence, several of these pictures will look somewhat familliar. I did, however, make it down to the docks this time, where ships large and small lumbered in and out of the harbor. We stayed in the same hotel, and all was good. Then, we loaded ourselves into a volkswagen (sp?) van for the next leg of the journey. We drove to the Ferry terminal where we loaded onto a sizeable cargo ferry. More on that in the next post.
